Principles

1. Wait until they are finished talking before defending yourself
2. Clarify the criticism to make sure that you interpreted it correctly
3. Ask for suggestions
4. Reflect on and/or learn from the criticism
5. Apply the new learnings
6. Reflect on whether the criticism was genuinely beneficial
